Coach Laura Carroll

Specialty: Beginner to Intermediate Coach

Laura is a UESCA certified running coach, a current Oregon State University graduate student studying counseling, a Certified Wild Writing teacher, and a Mindfulness Meditation teacher in training. Additionally, she completed a coaching mentorship with Higher Running’s co-founder, Sandi Nypaver, and completed the Running Gait Analysis certification program. Laura is a triathlete turned full-time runner with a goal to complete her first ultra soon. She has completed multiple sprint triathlons and a half Ironman, including numerous 5ks and half-marathons, and one full. She has a bachelor’s degree in psychology and sociology, and is passionate about community connection, diversity, and the environment.

Laura’s coaching philosophy combines a scientific approach while incorporating her training in counseling using tools like motivational interviewing and mindfulness. She understands everyone comes with their own unique background and will personalize a coaching plan based on individual needs. With check-ins every other day, Laura will provide feedback based on your workouts to help you get stronger, move faster, stay consistent, and help you reach your long-term goals. Laura is here to help you reach your goals because life is always better with support!

Laura does not provide counseling or personal therapeutic services but her method molds what she knows to create a holistic approach to training.

Price for Coaching:

One Year Commitment: $175 per month.

Month to Month (with a 3-month commitment): $225 per month. 

*It is important that our work remains accessible to as many as possible; that is why each coach offers a sliding scale for those who cannot afford the full price. Please contact your desired coach directly to inquire about sliding scale options.
